Now, I'm not expecting some loving moment between all of my parents, but damn.
All I wanted was one lunch with everyone.
Thanks for all being pissy on my last day in Florida, it makes it that much better.

I went to the gun range yesterday, and Andrew taught me how to shoot. I hate to admit it, but that was so much fun. Andrew said I did pretty good for it being my first time - I even hit the target in the throat (I think I was aiming for the chest that time though). The only glitch? After I fired my last shot, the casing flew up in the air and bounced off my head into my safety glasses. And the glasses held it to my cheek. And it was hot. But other than that, it really was fun.
I'm in the process of finishing my packing now, then off to Erin's. Tomorrow's the reception, Sunday is pseudo-Christmas, Monday is the Dali Museum, and Tuesday we leave for Washington. :o)

No SeaWorld, and no guns yet. Yes, guns. He found 2 he liked - one for me and one for him. Andrew's address on his license is his dad's old one (not valid anymore), so he couldn't get any guns yet. We're going to change it to my parent's address tomorrow (when I get my new license with my new name), and then change it to our address once we move.
We went to Kobe the night we were supposed to go to SeaWorld. That was interesting. Andrew's mom, dad, sister and sister's husband (Allen). Allen gets out of the truck, walks over to me, and busts out with "I hate you because you're moving and not taking her with you," referring to Andrew's mom. And then all night, I just kept hearing that from him and then Allen and Sarie would bicker. It was amusing. And Allen was only half kidding.
I had finals today, and I kicked ass. And I'm officially done with school in Florida, thankyouverymuchyay.
We're heading back into Orlando in a bit, and we have to do all the boring stuff tomorrow. Bleh.
I move in like 5 days, and I'm still not all packed. I'm a slacker.

Scott sold my car.
We bought it 3 years ago for $2700, and Scott sold it last night for $2800. Cash. Sweet.
We're getting a gun. :o) Andrew has the money with him right now - we're buying it down here since it's so much cheaper. It's a 357 Magnum.

So, we just made plans for tonight and tomorrow (although they're still being finalized). Tonight - drunken bonfire at Andrew's dad's with Shan and possibly (probably) Dave and Tiff. Tomorrow - Sea World for free with Shan and possibly Dave and Tiff. I haven't been to Sea World since I was like 10.
Yay for bonfires. :o) And for Sea World.
But on a sucky note, my mom just looked at my throat since I'm feeling shitty, and she tells me that I have the beginnings of strep or some nasty infection. Her first statement was "ew, you have nasty white stuff on your tonsils!" Lovely. Can't wait to tell Andrew.

By some lucky chance, Annette didn't schedule Tina for Saturday. Actually, she did, but then she took her off. What is this awesome? The reception is Saturday, and now she can come! Oh yea, that's great.
Andrew's with his dad, and I'm here cleaning the car and packing. Joy.
We stayed at his dad's last night, and in the middle of the night, I just felt like I was going to throw up everywhere. Don't know why, what time, anything. I just remember waking up, telling him I was gonna puke, and then him asking if I wanted him to go with me into the bathroom. I just passed out again after that - and I wasn't drunk or anything. I woke up this morning with a killer sore throat, and what looks like a nasty spiderbite on my ankle. Swelling, redness and everything. It looks better now though.
Someone is coming over from Tampa later today to buy my car. Scott said he's going to sell it to them no matter how low they go, but they offered full price for it. I'm gonna be pissed if I don't walk away with at least $2500, especially considering we were offered $2500 before and Scott told them no.
Scott ran over Andrew's backpack earlier. I was taking everything out of my car, I put the backpack on the driveway next to my luggage, and Scott ran over the backpack. Luckily for us, I took his brand new laptop out of the backpack and left it on my seat - I didn't want it on the concrete. We don't need the 2nd one to break too.
I'm off to a doctor's appointment and then to book buyback and to find my hubby.
These are from Shan's on Friday night. She was trashed when we got there, so there aren't many pictures of either of us, and I hate how I look in mine, so here's Andrew. :o)
(PS - the dog is Ernie, the sweetest pitbull ever. And he loves boy dogs. And he's skinny with fat rolls. I love Ernie.)

So, Andrew and I have had our phones for just over 3 months now right? And we paid out the ass for them since our old phones weren't working and we decided to get nice phones?
Yea, we are both having problems with them. Mine is doing the same flashing screen thing as the V300, and it's randomly spazzing out, it'll record videos but then it can't save them, and the same deal with pictures. Andrew's? Just completely crapped out on him this morning. He can't get further than the "enter sim pin" prompt because it freezes when he puts in the first number.
Damn Motorolas. Oh well, he'll be here tomorrow, and we each have 2 other (old) phones we can use if we need to. We have our own loaner phones.

Andrew, Dave and Tiff all get here tomorrow morning, and then the next few weeks are going to be a blur. Between just doing normal "they're on leave" stuff, Shan's 21st birthday (Saturday!), moving, Christmas and New Year's, it's going to be busy. And fun. And I'll be drinking a lot.
If you would have told me 4 years ago that I'd be married to that guy who came to practice with David (and laughed at us. butthead.), and moving across the country to be with him, I would have laughed in your face. Now, I can't wait. :o)
I remember the feeling I had when I was counting down the days until he left for boot camp, and I got to that last day. Now I'm counting down the days until we're always together again, and I'm on that last day. And this time, instead of crying and being incredibly sad, I'm so excited I can't sit still, there has been the occasional "hell yea, finally" tear, and I think I would be doing backflips if I could. Polar opposite feelings. I'm just as happy now as I was sad then.
16 hours. :o)

Since it is officially Thursday and everything...
...Andrew's getting on a plane tonight and will be here tomorrow morning.
And then we'll get to be together all the time again, or at least until the Navy decides they want him to themselves again. Damn greedy Navy.

I never have to buy gas for the Eclipse again (not like I'd have to buy much more anyways). My dad has five 5-gallon containers of gas. He hoarded it when the hurricanes were coming at us. He called me the day before yesterday and asked my how much gas I had, but didn't explain why he was asking. Well, I went to the house yesterday, he asked me again, and then handed Kyle a funnel and went to the side of the house. He said he's had it for a little while, but he put stabilizer in it, so it's good for a year. He just wants to get rid of it. My dad is officially Mr. Hurricane Preparedness 2005.
I'm waiting to see if Shan's going to call me anytime soon. Drama happened the night before last and I haven't really talked to her since. I saw her for about 5 minutes yesterday after I called her house (again...) and someone finally picked up. No one knew where she was, and so Heather's was the only place we could think of. I went to Heather's to see if she was there, and she was. She told me she was going to call me when she got home last night. She also told me on Monday night that she'd be at my house by noon yesterday and she'd help me detail my car since I loaned her some money. Thus, the whole reason we were worried - it's not like Shan to say she'll be somewhere and not show up, or even call to say what's going on.
Today was my last day of class, and my last day of class in Florida, period. Finals are on Wednesday. My sexuality teacher gave us a 5 page review sheet. That's a lot of shit. My nutrition teacher is gonna give us a review sheet tonight too, and I have to do them both by tomorrow night, or I never will.
Andrew gets here the day after tomorrow. :o)

Well, since I'm probably not going to make it into classes this coming quarter, I was looking into something to occupy my time that would be good for me as far as school/nursing. So I started looking into the phlebotomy programs up there, and I found an 11 week program. That same school has a 35 week MA program that includes phlebotomy training (of course). I really want to get into the MA program. It'll help me realize if I really do want to do nursing before I spend 4 more years in school for my BSN. Plus I'll get done right before they get in from the deployment/Andrew's due for orders, so I can figure out my school situation better then as far as where we'll be stationed and what school I need to get into.
Beh. I'm waiting to hear back from the school, but I'm still not sure if I want to go for phlebotomy or medical assisting. I'm like 60% toward the MA program, but at the same time, that's time I could actually be taking classes to finish my prereqs. But, apparently some of the credit for the MA program is transferrable, so it might work out the same. I'm just waiting on details.

I am so incredibly bored.
I shampooed the carpets in my car earlier. We took it somewhere a few weeks back, and they said that they shampooed, but the carpets were still dirty. I took the shampooer out there and as soon as I sprayed the stains and vaccuumed once, the stain was practically gone. Yup, they shampooed my car alright. Scott's going to go talk to them later, since he's the one who took it in.
I washed my car earlier too. It picks up so much dirt driving back and forth from Shan's. It was filthy.
Three more days. Actually, 2 days and then he'll be here that next morning. I'm not looking forward to driving back and forth from Lakeland every day. Oh well, no biggie.
So, did I mention that I'm bored? Incredibly bored? And that I need my luggage to finish packing my room? Bah. Oh, and my one box that I packed last night is going to cost me about $50 to ship. Ouch.
I guess I'm gonna go pack some more. Yay.

I packed more. A box full of media mail stuff (and god, it's heavy), and another box full of clothes, shoes and towels. Random. I think I have about another box worth of stuff in my room, but then I have everything that was moved into the garage after I moved out of my apartment. This should be fun.
Tomorrow is my last free day in Florida. Wednesday I have school, Thursday I'm meeting with Mema and Kathleen to do reception-y stuff, and Friday morning, Andrew will be here.
Another offer on my car. This guy seems really interested, and he's going to stop by either tomorrow on his way out of town or on his way back in next week. I hope it's tomorrow, because if I still have the Eclipse next week, no one will let me use another car, and I'll have to be up at the asscrack of dawn to drive from my FIL's to here. That's about an hour and 45 minute drive.
I'm getting sick, and it sucks. I just hope it goes away before Friday...
